Peach Snap 'n' Print
Peach Snap & Print Cartridge systems are an alternative to remanufactured or refilled cartridges.
They come in 2 parts - the "printhead" and the "refill" - the printhead fits into the printer, and the refill (which contains the ink) snaps into the printhead. Once the cartridge is empty, you simply take out the refill (leaving the printhead in place), and snap in another refill. You can replace the refill an average of 25 times before you have to replace the printhead.
The fact that it is a 100% brand new printhead. they are made with genuine HP printheads, which Peach licence from HP, so this isn't like a remanufactured printhead which has been used and cleaned out numerous times.
The refills are made from 100% brand new components. A refill is simply a tank of ink which snaps into the printhead. They are cheap and can be disposed of once empty.
So What Do I Have To Buy?
The first thing you need is a printhead. That means you have to buy one of the starter packs, which contain 1x printhead and 3x refills. From then on, you can just keep buying refills - available as a twin-pack.
Eventually you will need to buy another printhead, at which point you would buy another starter pack. Compare the price of this one starter pack to the price of 3 originals, or even 3 remanufactured/recycled cartridges, and you can immediately start to see the potential savings.
